Are you passionate about golf and want to make a difference in our school sports community? Or does your child play golf and you want to find a way to help?
We’re currently looking for a new Golf Coordinator to lead and inspire our student athletes. This is a great opportunity to get involved, share your love of the game, and help shape a fun and rewarding golf experience for our players.
What’s involved?
Organizing practices, coordination with golf course and coaches, supporting players as they develop their skills and confidence on the course and continuing to creating a positive, inclusive team environment.
Sean Ginter has been looking to "retire" from this role and no one has stepped up for him to walk away. We are looking for someone to shadow him this year. Please consider this as Sean has been so generous with his time and is really ready for someone else to take over this amazing program. He really has done a phenomenal job and it is time for someone else to take this!

2025 INCARNATION CYO GOLF PROGRAM - Registration opens 5/18/25
The Incarnation CYO Golf Program is available to all 5th-8th grade Incarnation School and Incarnation and St. Francis Discipleship Formation students . Our goal is to properly introduce this wonderful life-long game to the next generation in a way that is purposeful, memorable, and FUN!!!
Dayton CYO Golf has multiple divisions tailored to appropriately challenge golfers of all skill levels. Golfers will compete against students from Catholic schools across the Miami Valley.

ONLINE REGISTRATION for the 2025 Golf season opens 5.18.25! The registration window will close on June 30th.
Early bird is open until 6.20.25 ($25 savings) - Register EARLY.
SCHEDULE / TIME COMMITMENT:
Evaluations will occur at Armco Park Golf Course during the last few weeks of July. All golfers will be asked to play two 9 hole rounds from the shorter tees on the Back 9. Results will be used to determine appropriate divisional placements. Dates for evaluations are as follows: July 20, 23, 27, 31 and August 3.
The Incarnation Open & Team Cookout will occur on Sunday, August 10th At Armco. Golfers will play in this (high-on-fun, low-on-pressure) Incarnation-only tournament, followed by a team cookout.
Practices will run from mid-August through late September (Location TBD).
Tentatively - 7th -8th graders will practice on Tuesday evenings & 5th -6th graders will practice on Wednesday evenings.
CYO golf matches occur on the two Sundays before Labor Day, and four Sundays after Labor Day. (Tee Times are typically between 12:00-3:00, with matches lasting 2-3 hours). Location varies based on the golfer’s divisional placement.
Competitive Golf Team: Some of the more ardent golfers in our program may have the opportunity to play on the Competitive Golf Team. Participants will have the opportunity to compete in additional events (at additional cost). These spots are limited and based on a mixture of age, interest, and ability.
The Incarnation Golf Banquet will occur in mid-October at a location TBD.
REGISTRATION FEE: $148.00 EARLY BIRD(this covers 9 9-hole greens fees + additional expenses)
$173 after 6.20.25.

Golfers will wear the same (green) Under Armor golf shirt season as last season, so if you have one that still fits, you won't need a new one.
ADDITIONAL ITEMS NEEDED:
*White shorts/skirts/pants for the girls, & khaki shorts/pants for the boys.
*Golf clubs.
*Golf gloves are optional, but recommended.
*Golf shoes are also optional
VOLUNTEERS:
The Incarnation golf program has become one of the strongest grade school golf programs in the entire state. This would be impossible without the amazing team of parents who offer up their time and energy as coaches, match managers and/or scorekeepers throughout the season. We are always looking for new parents to join the team. If you would like to coach or assist in some other capacity, please let me know. (Please don’t hesitate to coach just because you aren’t a scratch golfer. If that was a prerequisite, we wouldn’t have any coaches!)
All volunteers MUST complete Safe Parish Training & receive a background check before volunteering at any golf practices, matches, etc. No exceptions to this rule. Safe Parish information can be found at https://www.aocsafeenvironment.org. Once on the site, click REGISTER in the upper right hand corner and follow the prompts to get registered.
