CYO Cheerleading is offered to all Incarnation School and Incarnation and St. Francis PREP girls in the 7th and 8th grades. The 7th grade squad will cheer for the 7th grade CYO boys basketball teams and the 8th grade squad will cheer for the 8th grade CYO boys basketball teams. Practice times will be determined when the squads are formed. Registration is open from 9.17.23-10.8.23.
There are no tryouts and no experience is necessary. The squads are coached by Alter High School cheerleaders with help from volunteer parents. There is flexibility with other sports/activities.
The fee for cheer for the 2023-2024 school year will be $80($60 for early bird which will run through 9.30.23). Uniform vests, briefs, turtlenecks, skirts, bows, and pom poms are provided in the fee. Each new cheerleader will be responsible to purchase white cheer shoes (not included in the fee).
Girls do attend a CHEER CLINIC by Alter Cheerleaders held usually on a Saturday in October. This is crucial for the girls to attend as they will learn the cheers and chants. More details will be provided to those who sign up to participate.
